The beginners level is suitable for absolute beginners, those returning to yoga after a break and those wanting to develop an understanding of the Iyengar yoga method, independent of age, gender, health status or fitness level.

Our beginners' classes are taught progressively over a 10-week period.  The Beginners Course starts at the beginning of each term and is repeated throughout the year. You are welcome to join the program at any time with the understanding that some essential learning has occurred in previous weeks during the term. 

If you would like to purchase the remainder of the Beginners Course after your casual attendance, you can talk to the teacher to have your single-class pass accredited towards the course fee.
As part of our 10-week Beginners Course we offer you to attend a second complementary class FREE each week.  Pro-rata fees apply for joining the program later in the term.

We encourage a weekly regular attendance where possible to get the most benefit from this practice and learn progressive skills that are built upon week by week.
