PROGRESSIVE - Level 1
VIRTUAL - Live online Iyengar yoga classes
For those who have completed 10 weeks of the Beginners Course or the equivalent.
Level 1 classes are ongoing, meaning you can enrol at any time.
The weekly content is taught as a weekly progression.
Consolidates foundational poses from the beginner level such as standing poses and shoulder-stand, and progresses into more upper-body poses with preparation for inversions.
At this level we introduce more dynamic standing postures, forward bends, back bends and twists and work on preparation for head balance. The different asana groups will be prioritised at different times as well as more emphasis is given to relaxation and basic breath work.
